Anything but a Box Project

Reaction paper

The problem of this project was to change a box into anything not resembling its original shape. All pieces were to be used and the box must "disappear". I approached the idea by reconstructing the box all together. The green color of the box gave me the idea of forests and farming so I decided to create a forest seen with a hut. I believe i solved the problem by creating something completely new. I wanted to create a living seen from something so bland and empty. I could have improved the project by laying down the sides of the diagram to make the forest view look more open. This would have made the project seem more "forest like".

  1. The transformation of the mass, structure and shape of your box into a landscape represents an effective solution of the problem presented. Interesting exploration of visual elements provided by the box chosen.

Good "before and after"images, however, Photographic documentation process is missing. Besides original objects and final piece, remember to take pictures of the deconstruction/ construction process.
Reaction paper is incomplete. Kindly visit the class blog for reaction paper guidelines. Your grade also reflects the late hand in of the project.
